For the life of me, I can’t figure out what I did during the first two weeks of the month that was exciting and worth sharing (other than me working two Saturdays–yay for adult convos about things other than Bebe!–and purchasing a new SUP).
That said, the second two weeks were great with husband home from work because his parents were in town visiting. Let’s go with bullets for expediency.
Little one is still delightful and I can’t believe he’s already as old as he is. November will be fun as we’ll introduce food and take him on a(nother) multi-night trip away from home.
May is best summed up in pictures…
Our lives will never be the same and we’re so incredibly thankful. 😀
I’m not doing so well with posting regularly and wanted to provide a quick update of life’s adventures for the past month. January began with New Year’s at Manly Beach with my parents and New Year’s Day spent walking around Sydney’s Circular Quay enjoying the summer sights and sounds. My parents returned home on 2 January and we returned to Canberra to resume our daily life. I (finally) began teaching SUP lessons again this month and words cannot express how great that felt. We spent MLK weekend at Merimbula and enjoyed the sand and surf (and cooler coastal weather). The next weekend was Australia Day weekend and while we didn’t party like most Australians seem to do, we had a good weekend hanging around the house. Several heat waves struck Canberra during the month, which zapped any extra energy I might have had, but in all, January was a fine month.
