After many successful years working in different industries in client service based positions, I elected to further develop my professional skills by pursuing a graduate degree at George Mason University beginning in summer 2009. I will successfully complete my studies and graduate with a Masters in Education in Instructional Design and Development with the e-Learning Graduate Certificate in May 2012.

I currently work for the Central Pension Fund of the International Union of Operating Engineers as the Assistant to the Director of Operations. In my current role, I oversee and support the day-to-day processes of one of the two pension funds we manage in order to ultimately provide the highest level of service and benefit to our participants, pensioners, and contributing employers.

I previously worked as the Assistant to the General Secretary-Treasurer at the International Union of Operating Engineers. In that position, I handled everything from soup to nuts for the GST, including–but not limited to–event management, presentation development, contact management for the entire organization, and overseeing financial reporting. Additionally, I also developed training materials including procedure manuals and presentations to internal clients covering proper membership processes and workflow in membership management software.

Upon graduation, I will be seeking a position as a full-time instructional designer.

I hold a Bachelor's in Business Administration from the University of Georgia and live in northern Virginia. In my spare time, I run, swing kettlebells, whitewater kayak, and knit.
